National Junior High Finals Rodeo

Instructor Shaun Stroh during a Roughstock Clinic.

As a sponsor of the National Junior High Finals Rodeo each year, the PRCA puts on Mini Roughstock Clinics with the help of some of their professional cowboys. These cowboys are there to give the opportunity to all the NJHFR Qualifiers to learn from the Pros and to help perfect techniques and to have a little fun while they’re at it. Between the Roughstock Clinics, Safety Seminars, Equipment Checks amongst plenty of other activities scheduled, the NJHFR Qualifiers always find time to have fun. Whether its having water balloon fights, checking out the trade show or just riding around in golf carts, these kids know how to have a good time and so do our instructors. This year, the PRCA decided everyone would enjoy a nice ice cream treat in all the heat and humidity! Instructors Shaun Stroh, Tate Stratton and Scotty NeSmith used what was around to bring an “ice cream truck” to NJHFR.

Our awesome instructors with their Ice Cream Truck

The golf cart was decorated with balloons and streamer and signs to bring attention, they even had the old ice cream truck music playing, loaded with popsicles, ice cream sandwiches and cones! Thanks to these gentlemen for all the instructions, help and for the ice cream too!
